Think You Might Have Cancer?

Cancer awareness and help-seeking behaviour among BAME groups are lowest across all minority ethnic groups (source: Macmillan Cancer Support). Modern advances in science means cancer survival rates are getting better, but successful cancer treatment depends on getting an early diagnosis.

Think you might have cancer? was a 5-month ad campaign to raise awareness of the importance of cancer diagnosis. The ads were run on three community radio channels.

Long Term Health Condition Support

Communities originally from Sub-Saharan Africa are among the UK population groups most affected by HIV and other long-term health conditions. FAWA offers support to individuals and families so they can live positively and in dignity with their long-term health condition. Beneficiaries also get help with access to care services.
